Archetypes being adopted by OMG / HSSP

Object Management Group (Oh My God!) sets Internet standards (full stop). HSSP is a joint initiative between OMG and HL7 and naturally focuses on healthcare interoperability. These are the chaps who invented UML etc. They do standards in a quite unusual way: issue RFPs to develop them. So in Jun 2012 they issued one to develop the Archetype Modeling Language – an extension to UML that brings the power of the openEHR multi-level modelling approach.
